Our Take: Consider these credentials: James Beard Foundation Award – Best Chef South; a stint at Daniel in New York City under Daniel Boulud, stint at Palme d’Or in Miami, Top Chef Runner-Up,  Best New Chef Food & Wine Magazine – 2017. All these accolades belong to Chef Nina Compton whose Caribbean influenced style delights her diners at this Warehouse District location. Despite a somewhat limited menu (four entrees, four starters) Compton delights her patrons. Representative of her style, a starter of Jerk Pork Belly accompanied by Plantain Crema and Tamarind Jus. Despite the Chef’s stellar background, prices are reasonable. Note a 4% kitchen appreciation charge is added to all checks.
