Our Take: Located about 5 miles from the French Quarter, Audubon Park affords a sanctuary from the bustle of the city. Walking trails, open spaces, and park amenities allow one to recharge and refresh. The park is located opposite Audubon Zoo and is bordered on the north by St. Charles Avenue and on the south by Magazine Street. If nothing else, one can enjoy the magnificent oak trees that grace the park. Open every day from 5 am to 10 pm.
