Website Description: French impressionist Edgar Degas stayed at this home when he visited in late 1872 and early 1873. The Home offers a Breakfast Tour: “Following the meal, visitors take part in our world-renowned guided tour experience, the “Edgar Degas House Creole Impressionist Tour”, featuring one of the great-grandnieces of Degas as the lead tour guide. The tour includes exploring the historic home, museum, courtyard, and Degas’ studio, and viewing the award-winning documentary, ‘Degas in New Orleans, a Creole Sojourn’.”
