Website Description: In October 2023, Kevin Pedeaux, the owner of CR Coffee Shop, a long-time vendor, took over operations of the market. Today, St. Roch Market is not just a place to eat; it’s a nurturing ground for budding food entrepreneurs and chefs who shape the New Orleans food scene.

Our Take: In a magnificently restored building located on the 19th Century location, St. Roche Market is a food hall that does justice to New Orleans. Vendors’ offerings are as varied as the city’s residents and range from Classic New Orleans, to Vietnamese, to Cuban. CR Coffee Shop also provides the caffeine fix. The Market is spacious and patrons can usually find a spot inside although outdoor seating is available. The market is a 30 minute walk from Jackson Square or 6 minute Uber so there’s no excuse not to check it out.
