Addis Ethiopian Restaurant is a new gem in the sea of amazing New Orleans restaurants. Not only is it Family-Owned and Black-Owned, but it is also one of the only two Ethiopian Restaurants in the entire state of Louisiana.
Our Take: Go outside the “ordinary” and try Doro Wat, a mildly spicy meat and egg stew eaten with injera (Ethopian bread). Or opt for whole fried snapper. Either way friendly staff and a relaxed vibe make Addis a place to remember. Named by Eater New Orleans as one of the 38 Essential Restaurants of New Orleans.
