Website Description: The focus is on unique cuts of meat procured from ranches that produce the finest quality Angus in the market and local seafood prepared with a South American approach and style.
Our Take: Opened in March of 2024, this location is now the flagship location for Chef Edgar Caro whose Old Metairie spot proved quite popular. A South American accent sets Brasa apart for other New Orleans steakhouses. Starters such as marinated white anchovies or empanadas set the stage for entrees that concentrate on steaks and chops with chicken or fish alternatives. Caro sources the freshest ingredients – most of which come from nearby farms and ranches. This location on the edge of the Quarter is open until 11 pm on Friday and Saturday so late night fine dining is now possible.
