Since 1983, the mission of LeMieux Galleries has been to unite seasoned collectors and new art enthusiasts with artists who are committed to their vision…In 2015 long time employees Christy Wood and Jordan Blanton purchased the gallery. Since then they have widened the galleries focus on art of the Southern US and expanded their roster to include more emerging artists.
Drawing from their connections as artist and professors, and developing new ones, the directors have brought together an exceptional and varied group of national and international artists to exhibit at IBIS. Exhibitions featuring one and two-person exhibitions are regularly on view in the main gallery space, while a smaller room exhibits a sampling of artists affiliated with the gallery.
