Website Description: Lagniappe Bakery is a neighborhood bakehouse & Cafe in Central City, New Orleans. Our goal is to provide a nostalgic pastry experience that celebrates the South through local, seasonal ingredients and community.
Our Take: Lagniappe Bakery, a recent startup located just off Oretha Haley Castle Boulevard and a block down from Cafe Reconile, shows the creativity and uniqueness that makes New Orleans dining so special. Combining French pastries with African spices and influences, Pastry Chef Kaitlin Guerin is in the early stages of creating something truly special.
