Update: A new location has opened at 898 Barrone Street under the name Willie Mae’s Nola. An expanded menu compliments this new location. We look to provide further info on this new location.

Our Take: This famous Tremé restaurant suffered a fire in April of 2023 and has not reopened. Willie Mae’s was famous for fried chicken and was the beneficiary of community outreach when it was destroyed during Hurricane Katrina.
