Website Description: The Original Pierre Maspero’s is a local favorite for casual French Quarter dining in an historic atmosphere. Located at the corner of St. Louis and Chartres, the people watching is prime as you enjoy traditional New Orleans breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes and refreshing spirits.
Our Take: Always busy but despite the crowds, Maspero’s serves good po-boys and huge selection of New Orlenas favorities – red beans & rice, jambalya, blackened fish, etc. And kudos to Maspero as all po-boys are served on Leidenhimer bread – an absolute must!! Maspero’s is open late (10pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends – this French Quarter spot can be a real savior when you’re looking for reasonably priced meal.
